Saturday - June 28, 2014 Ronny said that he was calling the ride today "The Six Flags Ride" because we would most likely get wet. LOL We were glad that he was wrong. We only saw a very few sprinkles. We did, however, see something very unusual on this ride. As we were headed West on 24 we met an airplane headed East on 24! Yes, on the four lane! And wouldn't you know, none of us got a picture!!! Today there were nine bikes headed to Earnest B's again but this time we were going to his new restaurant. In the years that we have been going to Earnest B's he has been in three different places. The food is the same - only the location has changed! Earnest B's is now located at 206 Troy Street in Tupelo, MS. It is well worth the ride! We have never seen anyone so exited to see us. Earnest B. was outside tending the smoker when we drove up. As we came down the street to the parking lot, he started whooping and hollering, jumping up & down and ran to the door and yelled "They're here!" LOL He was anxious to show us his new place and to feed us some delicious food. He and his staff are always very friendly and make us feel soooooo welcome! And the guys are always rubbing their bellies when we leave.;) Of course, you can't visit Tupelo without thinking of "Elvis" and seeing reminders of his presence in the area. It was a great ride with our friends and we ended it with an "ice cream" stop! How could we ask for more?
